Kinsale Harbour · Est. by the water

Cooked over oak,
served by the tide.

A small kitchen built around one open fire. Fish from the morning boats, vegetables from West Cork growers, and whatever the embers decide tonight.

The fire

Three temperatures. One hearth.

  1. I

    The flame

Fierce, fast heat for searing fish skin and blistering flatbread in under a minute.

  2. II

    The embers

A steady glow for whole fish and beef on the bone, turned by hand and never rushed.

  3. III

    The ash

Vegetables buried overnight in the cooling ash, ready by service with a deep, sweet smoke.

The private table

Twelve seats, facing the fire.

A long oak table at the edge of the kitchen for birthdays, small weddings and long Sunday lunches. A set menu is planned with you a week ahead.
